 
															National Service Scheme
National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government-sponsored public service program under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, launched in 1969. It
aims to involve students in nation-building and community service by promoting values like social responsibility, leadership, and teamwork.
V.S.L has developed the NSS works through our colleges by encouraging our students to participate in various activities such as cleanliness drives, blood
donation camps, awareness campaigns, and rural development projects. It also organizes special camps in villages to help students engage with and serve
local communities.  
The motto of NSS is “Not Me, But You,” emphasizing the spirit of selfless service and community welfare.

															ROTARACT YUVATHI
Rotaract Yuvathi is a vibrant, youth-led initiative functioning under the larger umbrella of Rotaract Clubs, which are part of Rotary International. This
initiative is focused on empowering young women by promoting leadership, personal development, community service, and social awareness.
To serve the less fortunate people, to spare some time for them and to share love and joy with them, requires strength and beauty of character. Students of VSL are grace personified in serving mankind through Rotaract Yuvathi.
 
															 
															STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Council in college is a representative body elected by the students to promote their interests and participate in the development
of the institution. It acts as a bridge between the students and the college administration, ensuring open communication and
cooperation.
 
															 
															ECO CLUB
The biggest challenge of the mankind today is to protect our environment by stopping all the unthinking acts of insolence. Environment has been one of the major issues that attracted global attention in the last three to four decades. One best way to encounter this situation, is to educate the youth regarding this issue and encourage their involvement. Youth is the prime of our life, packed with unbelievable energy and optimism, ready to take on any challenge, however difficult it may be!
Eco club is a College level, voluntary students’ initiative for a common goal of a better environment. The Eco club conducts meetings, events, rallies, and cultural shows. A remarkable event conducted by our students is the awareness programme on Eco-Friendly idol of Vinayaka.
 
															 
															 
															RED RIBBON CLUB
Red Ribbon Club is a joint operation of Indian Red Cross Society, AP state branch and AP state AIDS Control Society. RRC strives for promoting life skills
among young people in all schools and colleges. Objectives of RRC are to promote regular voluntary blood donation by young people and to increase
access to safe and adequate quantities of blood.
Some of the activities undertaken by VSL RRC include: Observed World Blood Donors day. Organized Blood Donation camp in association with JCS Kakinada Port club and Rotary Blood Bank in which our students conducted blood grouping tests for the blood samples.
Arranged Blood Donation Camp along with Red Cross Society. Conducted Elocution Competition on Role of Youth in prevention of AIDS
